MEG, which stands for ”Micro Experimental Growing” is a technologcial platform developed for Precision Lighting in AgTech applications.
For this particular Edition we collaborated with the National Science and Technology Museum “Leonardo da Vinci” in Milan, Italy.
This full-sized Biosphere laboratory is now in their Permanent Collection and it’s installed and running at the Museum’s Genetics Laboratory – for both research and educational purposes.
The original project won the HACK THE EXPO Design Award from Wired Magazine right before EXPO Milano 2015. During the whole EXPO schedule, the project was co-sponsored by the Peruvian Economic and Commercial Office in Milano (Ministerio de Comercio Exterior y Turismo).
